My hunch is BTC is a perfect collateral layer but ETH might be bigger in market cap terms in 10 years for the reasons above. Money and collateral is just the base layer. Everything builds on top. The store of value is collateral, the trust layer and exchange of value is bigger

IMO between the tech challenges faced by BTC apps (security by txns, composability) and forthcoming changes to the Ethereum protocol (ETH2, EIP1559) and the network effects being realized by DeFi, NFTs, Baseline, etc. its hard to imagine how ETH wont be most valuable cryptoasset.

The internet of value is even bigger than the digitization of traditional asset classes, it's also about the intersection of AI finance and machine to machine, software to software payments whose volumes are unimaginable. Post scarcity will become an emergent property.
