An option for having a very decent life after retirement for Americans would be moving to another country such as Argentina, Brazil or Chile. Running US dollars here will give them an amazing life style. Of course, they'll need to learn another language, stay away from family...

One of the
@realvision episodes I have watched several times was your episode on the retirement savings void. You were early on the topic and spot on in the data. Still floored at how many dismiss this topic as insignificant as to future economic changes or challenges.Hvala. Twitter će to iskoristiti za poboljšanje vaše vremenske crte. PoništiPoništi

I live in an affluent little bubble where people have saved "enough" for retirement, but they are completely unaware of the massive systemic risks they face. Especially with conventional portfolios. They'll be fine, but their retirement lifestyle won't be as they imagined.

Typical Americans spent 3900 USD a month on basics? Are they buying a new 27 inch iMac every month? What a nightmare

Owning several rental properties seems like a prudent approach for cash flow even if prices fall?

and there ya have it.. until we get it through our heads, or SOUL, that the very 'gotta get mines' way of operating is the underlying cause of the situation we find ourselves in as a global society, we continue in decline. raising rents on ppl strapped so you can 'live'..?

The American version of retirement is hilariously detrimental economically.

The article misses the primary point that Americans don’t save anything . Average 21,000 USD for someone in their 50’s? Surely saving is the primary issue, not the 401ks (which most aren’t taking advantage of anyway)
