Yes, @TeamYouTube @YTCreators wrongly took down our stream tonight for playing roughly ONE MINUTE of the debate. Since YouTube doesn't give me a real person to talk to, all I have is Twitter shrieking. Help gaining their attention is much appreciated.

I had this same thing happen during the debates back in June, actually a lot of us did. I used the chat option to contact them and they told me there was nothing they could do. 24 hours later it was lifted without any notice. Hope that happens for you.

They did that once for me as well, a few months back due to a bogus community guidelines strike. This is so broken it's unreal. Thanks for the insight.

If you manage to get in touch with anyone they will likely point you to the policy which mentions live broadcasts and how a content ID match on those will result in an immediate strike that can't be challenged Which does exist. However, that same policy says....

are because of how they implement it. CNN has to release the claims. But their nonsense about it not being able to be challenged is, well, nonsense. I really do hope they fix this for you quickly. Mine took almost exactly 24 hours.

Yeah that's the thing - they don't even tell me who made the strike, or who the alleged copyright holder is, so I have no way to contact them. Do you remember where you saw this policy? Thanks for the info.
