One more thing: Facebook suspended us on the grounds we don’t disclose we receive funding from Ruptly, who’s parent company is RT . But this standard is not applied to NPR, AJ+ or TRT. It’s discrimination, part of a McCarthyist witch-hunt.

On a side note, CNN kept asking if I have editorial control at @IntheNow_tweet (I do). The interviewer didn’t believe me. So I asked where Marc Lamont Hill’s editorial freedom was when CNN fired him 4 telling the truth about Israeli occupation of Palestine. Response was crickets

It’s moments like this you should really question why CNN, why the US government and its proxy think tanks are so scared of what people like me and @AnissaNow have to say. These entities really want to shut us up. Why? Because we say things like thispic.twitter.com/xMabspwZcP

Some more of @IntheNow_tweet’s content that CNN finds so threatening. Ask yourself, could I have produced this video at any other outlet (besides maybe Al Jazeera)? Why can’t CNN engage w/ the content rather than getting Facebook to suppress this speech?pic.twitter.com/epTKHHf8Ms

Another @IntheNow_tweet video that CNN and the US government-funded German Marshall Fund apparently find so threatening they need Facebook to suspend us. Judge for yourself. Why doesn’t CNN want ppl to see the sewage crisis in Alabama?pic.twitter.com/9dlU25wReL

Great and detailed report by @kgosztola at @shadowproofcom on how CNN colluded with US government funded think tanks to get Facebook to suspend @IntheNow_tweet’s Facebook pages in an effort to silence adversarial antiwar journalismhttps://shadowproof.com/2019/02/16/cnn-manufactured-story-about-russia-video-company-facebook-censorship/ …

It really scares me to see how many people are pro censorship, especially when it’s the same people who are outraged by Trump’s treatment of CNN. Yet when CNN plays a role in suppressing dissenting media, they all nod. Frightening.

I don’t think it’s a coincidence that US government funded think tanks prompted CNN to pressure @facebook to suspend @IntheNow_tweet at a time when alternative outlets like In The Now are the only platforms challenging the US regime change war on Venezuela.

Please express your concerns to @facebook about their censorship of @IntheNow_tweet at the behest of US government funded think tanks. They need to know that their users are not okay with governments dictating what ppl see and don’t see.

It has been 3 days since @facebook suspended @IntheNow_tweet's page at the behest of @CNN and US government funded think tanks. We had almost 4 million subscribers, did not violate any Facebook rules, were given no warning & Facebook isn’t responding to us.

Even if you despise my opinions, you should be outraged on free speech grounds. That Facebook can wipe out the audience and hard work of a verified and massive page without even communicating with us is alarming. What will it take for @facebook to stop engaging in censorship?

Here’s another piece of adversarial content that CNN and US government funded think tanks have convinced @Facebook to censor by taking down @IntheNow_tweet’s page. CNN’s @brianstelter outrageously equated our content w/ anti-vaxxers. Decide for yourselfpic.twitter.com/CsZ5z8FYJg

Here is my documentary (that @CNN got censored from @facebook ) on the sewage crisis in rural Alabama that's led to the resurgence of hookworm, a disease of extreme poverty that the UN was shocked to find in a country as rich as the US. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Iqq8omDQrJ8 …

After more than a week @facebook has republished @IntheNow_tweet's pages. We had to disclose our funding, which is fine. We hope Facebook applies this requirement to all outlets, otherwise they will be singling out us, which would be wrong and discriminatory. Keep up the pressure

I'm really happy that this whole episode is over, and what a creepy episode it was. It taught me that the US government is using big media like CNN to help censor content that it doesn't like. And even worse there were so many people who cheered on the censorship.

We live in an era where powerful forces exert a great deal of energy smearing and marginalizing people like me, so much so that they pressure other people to stop interacting with us lest they too be smeared and marginalized . And I know it works. So sad.
