Shame, shame. A pox on both Houses - and parties. $1.3 trillion. Busts budget caps. 2200 pages, with just hours to try to read it.

Seriously.... ..... That is not what we voted for.
-
Yes, it is. If you didn't see this coming with Trump you weren't paying attention. The guy rips ppl off to support his ridiculous lifestyle. Hopefully this will start to sink in someday.
-
Dude it not
@realDonaldTrump that I’m pissed at, it is Congress and the Senate. Learn the branches of government and what they do. -
Then why didn't he veto it? It was within his power to do so.
-
That would’ve meant sending a unstable Congress at best back to the drawing board, also
@realDonaldTrump took this opportunity to nail down several things. Dems turning on the DACA issue, rebuilding our military, and getting the Wall started. -
Dems did not turn on DACA. Trump stopped it and is trying to use it as blackmail to get his very expensive and unnecessary wall. Dems are refusing to be blackmailed. Trump can reenact DACA the same way he put a stop to it.
-
I beg to differ with you. From where I stand they haven’t said boo about it since there is nothing to gain from it.
-
Whatever the D's have put forth regarding DACA, Donald has rejected. Because it did not include his wall.

... It's a horror story, but ...
-
... It's long been understood that if the Democrats are ever to re-take power -- and they will -- America needs to be bankrupted and broken to constrain them. ...
-
... We're way too far into the scorched-earth phase of American socio-political collapse to pretend to be shocked by this.
-
whatever happened to the Outside In strategy?
-
That's strictly restricted to the presidency.

Well guess what Rand? As cumbersome as it is, WE PAY YOU TO READ IT! If its too long to read it, then decline it and make a shorter copy. I've loved you and your father for years. if you don't have time to read it, then don't vote for it! You work for us!

Would help if there was an index by topic, corporate/financial beneficiary, a blog style topic cloud - and search. It's probably posted to the Thomas DB right?

Check out this thread.
@RandPaul read through ~600 pages and stated he would vote NO in the current state.https://twitter.com/randpaul/status/976973237941886977?s=21 … -
Passing a tax cut that results in a 2 trillion deficit cannot be balanced by any spending bill. And The US spends more on defense than China, Saudi Arabia, Russia, United Kingdom, India, France, and Japan combined, accounts for 1/2 our discretionary spending. That’s Trump and GOP

How about a Bill that limits the number of pages a Bill can be when presented less then 7 days prior to a vote and that no Bill can be voted on by anyone unless they've e-verified that they've read it in it's entirety.
-
Really. Can you imagine running a business & not reading contracts before you sign???

-
Seriously. Or having your accountant say "Sign this $1.3 Trillion check." What's if for can I rea---? "NO! There's no time! It's just a bunch of stuff, most of it you won't like, now hurry up! Hurry up! It's Friday, sign it, sign it!"
