Like Congressional salaries, pensions, and health care. I think it's high time you guys get a 401k and buy your own health insurance. Why should we pay for that?

So correct Senator, we have to stop spending more than we have. If we decide to spend $10 billion over here then the simple question is where does the $10 billion come from. Responsible Americans do this daily, it's called living within your means

Living within their means? Hahaha good one. Maybe they could cut some funding for their payoffs for sexual misconduct , or to military spending.

Maybe try stopping of use of 'baseline budgeting' for a start! Any other business in the country would be called a fraud & a scam for keeping the books like the government does! #GutlessWeasels!

Dream on. As long as we keep professional politicians in D.C., little will change, except for the things President Trump pushes them into. They will never vote to 1) have term limits, 2) get rid of their perks, 3) stop taking money through the backdoor.

That’s like an alcoholic parent spending the family income on booze and telling the kids to do with less food. Because “we can’t afford” it.

You are the first person in DC that actually realizes and articulates the real funding problem is on the spend side. The "swamp" exists in every bureaucratic structure / agency, etc. of the federal Government, that protects every job and benefit. Let's clear out that Swamp!!

Does that also mean a smaller group of Congressional aides and staff including fewer individual Chief of Staff for each elected Congressperson and Senators? Could save taxpayers million of $.
