Tonight, the Senate is attempting to move forward with the Defense Bill. I am seeking an amendment to end the AUMF in Afghanistan and Iraq.

The lobbyists hate him, that's why you should support him even if you disagree. He's one of the last honest people in Congress.

Why do this. It only ends up impacting Military families & nothing else? Our pay gets cut or people lose jobs nothing else happens.

It does nothing. The only thing that ever gets cut in government spending is money for military members and their families.

Well and the arts and science research and other things. But yeah vets get the shaft more than say, contractors. And it's a crime.
