Senator Rand Paul has tested positive for COVID-19. He is feeling fine and is in quarantine. He is asymptomatic and was tested out of an abundance of caution due to his extensive travel and events. He was not aware of any direct contact with any infected person.
He expects to be back in the Senate after his quarantine period ends and will continue to work for the people of Kentucky at this difficult time. Ten days ago, our D.C. office began operating remotely, hence virtually no staff has had contact with Senator Rand Paul.
Rest up and get well, Senator. We can't lose the voice of reason in Washington.

and yet .... we have people with real symptoms that can't get tested. Must be nice to be wealthy and connected.

Interesting how politicos, wealthy and other “elites” seem to have no problems getting tested for COVID 19 however large numbers of the ill can’t get tested for COVID 19.
And we are the ones working day in and day out to keep food in peoples homes while they sit there snotty ass is inside quarantined but if we need to get tested they will get the test before we will. I work in the food processing industry I haven’t caught a break yet. 14 days in!
