Congrats Kentucky! Nothing helps the working poor like black lung and insurance options that don't cover preexisting conditions!

Coal is still necessary, Nick
-
Currently, yup. If invested in Solar and wind along with some natural gas coal could be reduced to about 1-5% of our grid.
-
Hey I agree but we aren’t there yet unfortunately
-
So we should just throw our hands up and go "Oh forget it we need coal too much lets just let it run out and try something then"? Change takes time. But it is better when you invest in the future not the past. Job training and elec/wind infrastructure now is key.

No. I follow folks that I can learn honest facts from.. such as Dem candidate
@Ojeda4congress . He talks a lot about the coal business. -
Good stay informed but make sure its well rounded. I hate echo chambers, but energy should be A-political. I'm not on here to troll those that disagree with me just engage in civil discourse. Thank you for participating in that rather than a digital slugfest

I’ve endured enough hate on here to last me a lifetime. I much prefer listening to others points of view to keep me honest.

No - you polluted the air, reduced the tax rate from 37% to 30% for high net worth individuals, want to take rebar out of construction and believe the house and senate deserve universal health care.
#fraudinrepresentation -
Increased the child tax credit, lowered taxes on the middle and lower classes, removed tax deductions for the rich.. But you do your thing. One sided as it may be.

pure comedy

2 questions. Why is repealing regulations per se a good thing? Some of the regulations protect the "people". And coal is failing, the market will kill it on its own, but why do you protect something that is so bad for the environment? Common thread: not caring about the "people".
-
Would you rather that Americans make steel using coal coke with our regulations, or let the Chinese make our steel for us with zero regulations? Which is better for the overall environmental health?

In other words: Thanks to
@RandPaul and Trump, we're polluting more, providing increased corporate welfare, removing consumer protections, and increasing the costs of health care! Yay! - 1 more reply

You forgot to mention you’re adding more than one trillion $ to the national debt. Oh, how convenient.
