    My dad, investigative journalist Martin Short, has advanced prostate cancer&we don’t know how much time he has. My mum in her late 70s has been nursing him. They live 4 miles away but I have only seen him just now at a distance. It is devastating. takes the piss

    Social distancing from my parents. Father has advanced stage4 cancer. Regular chemo hospital visits. Mother high blood pressure. Both late 70s. In London. They are high risk likelihood of death by Son already at home and I cannot see them to help

    First day of of son’s school - first schools to shutter in London. As a freelancer I can work from home, teach son with schools help but am losing work. Still, created school timetable starting from 9am.

    All French schools in have taken the unilateral decision to close from Tuesday. Kids will be taught online. When will the UK Govt do the same with British schools?
