The worst thing about this is the amount of money Harvard must be pilfering from black students by misleading them into applying. The Harvard application fee is $75, which when multiplied by the number of deceived applicants leads to a healthy sum

Some of this effort works by waiving those application fees. Which is little sweat off Harvard’s back. If your SAT score is mediocre, they can reject without taking much time to read.

What this study implies is that Harvard was already recruiting a large fraction of African-Americans with near-Harvard-level IQs 40+ years ago. So, recent Harvard inclusivity efforts are just scraping the bottom of the barrel for the sake of looking like Harvard cares.
