What was once considered a moderately pro-choice position is now embraced only by self-described pro-life Democrats in Congress. !

Doug Jones was as good as his word...just voted against the 20-week abortion ban. I guess the last-ditch effort to paint him as a moderate on abortion was mere rhetoric, after all, just as pro-lifers said.

Recent Marist polling shows that two-thirds of Americans support a 20-week abortion ban, incl. more than half of Democrats and pro-choice voters. 78% of women want abortion limited to the first three months of pregnancy or cases of rape, incest, or to save the mother's life.
