    This is an EXCELLENT thread! Also known as which albums did you refuse to pay full price for but politely picked up in for three pounds a little while later.

    Been listening to a lot of critically meh-ed albums by people whose music I enjoy - Janet's 20 Y.O., Daft Punk's Human After All, Prince's Lovesexy – but what are some of yours? The Ones That Got Away, for whatever reason

    Fantastic! Both tops scream 2.009 - especially the one on the right

    This is one of the first, if not THE first gigs we ever played together. Can’t actually remember where it was, but there were certainly only about 5 people in attendance! It was shortly after we’d released ‘Preacher’ and ‘Innervision’, our first 12” on Worldwide Audio in 2009.

    “We were 20 year-old kids.” I’d argue that the most enjoyable music interview in the issue came courtesy of former Frankie cohort Paul Rutherford, who were signed to ZTT in ‘81 - so it was THREE YEARS before they released a record!! 😳

    Anyone else remember peak Shoreditch clubbing?! In November 2011, held a classic Boys Own party with Lil Louis and : pretty sure this is the era when LL requested a basketball court close to the club in his contract. ⛹️
