-The Senate redistricting committee has not changed which maps they're using as base maps for the redistricting process (but they're allowing production of other maps for comparison purposes)
Any other inaccurate claims I'm missing? #ncpol #ncga

Ignoring larger point: At least one key GOPer led at least one key Dem to believe that there wouldn’t be a vote & key Dem relied on that, to his (& Dems’) detriment. Is there misinformation in that?
-
Also, a serious question: does txt msg btw Lewis & reporter tend to confirm, or undercut, what Lewis reportedly led key Dem to believe? I.e: no vote Wednesday morning?

Yes, Lewis confirmed that he sent the text to WRAL reporter. He said so in the house session around 3:15 PM today. I was there. The way he told it, he said he texted that he didn't *think* there would be a vote and he also said it was late and he was tired.
-
Then he at least led the reporter to believe there wouldn’t be a vote. If that’s how he interacted with his Dem counterpart, that’s a serious breach of etiquette & professional courtesy, at least IMO.

By all the local reporters who have tried to verify that widely reported claim.
