These loops are multi-year loops - sometimes decades. It’s amazing how people connect random dots on twitter. May be I should write a whole book - a tweet at a time on twitter

I think
@LisaSu and her team can probably identify with that. It’s a merry-go-round. -
Vega was not much different.

AMD as a company has been laughed off for a very looong time; almost died, and the battle is not won yet. This is seriously hard business. Takes extraordinary vision, commitment and perseverance. Glory be to those who dare. Helps if you have the resources of Intel, but still...

I was part of the laughable group that worked with The OpenDocument Format (ODF), OpenOffice and Libre Office, among other laughable Open Source projects. This is a wonderful dejavu for me

Honestly, I
ed *ALL* of them. Keep in mind, tech is notorious for recycling. The first "smartphone" (IMHO) was the Handspring Visor in the late 1990s. But didn't take off until later. Chromebooks could be a great place for them! -
Someone will create a tech tide coaching job someday :)

What? Why would anyone be laughing at you?

Intel graphics.

@IntelGraphics is the most exciting part of Intel at the moment in my opinion. The opportunity is there. -
A lot of people are dismissing them for bad reasons though, which could explain Raja's comments. There are also a few good reasons to be skeptical. I agree they are going to be one of the more interesting groups to watch.

Yes, we have, we always powered through the noise and stayed focused on the vision. Our inner drive helps us pushes past the negativity and the naysayers. We never cower when the competition is fierce. You have been a great partner in driving what is seen as the impossible.

Both companies and individuals can only strive to improve constantly. Nobody is right 100% all the time. Sometimes some bets might not pay off and hindsight might seem simple. But keeping the faith in ourselves and applying our learnings to improve ourself is what matters.

It's really unfortunate to know that someone like you has to go through this. But do not mind, keep your head up, you're amazing and brilliant as a person, equally as a professional. Big hug Raja.

In many ways it's good for Intel to retain the underdog perception. Keeps expectations low with customers, keeps competitors complacent, keeps analysts and shareholders from scoring results sharply. Any success is big upside.

Though is it for the right reasons? Do you think your graphic was honest about your competitor's capabilities? It doesn't appear to be, so it needs to be detailed out why, e.g. AI was not included for both, or it's going to come back to haunt you..
