You might think this is not as hard bc auto-pilot but they probably turned OFF auto-pilot to do this. In fact, auto-pilot is usually just engaged during difficult flying situations, like storms.

Not fun when the heavy is in front on these landings at SFO! Wake turbulence is the worst.

Actually not an uncommon site. The runways are far and never had collisions. When it is very windy or foggy, only one plane is allowed to land at a time. Go to the Airport Blvd and there are places to sit and watch.
