Considering a single wedge is about €5 at the supermarket, I wonder how many wedges you get from one wheel? That looks like it could be a lot of money!

They’re so valuable that diarist Samuel Pepys famously buried his whole wheel in his garden during the Great Fire of London in 1666, so it might survive. It’s said there are 300,000 wheels of Parmigiano Reggiano stored in bank vaults in Italy, which are worth over €250 million.
