The 11000volt cables are dangerous. I remember a tipper truck that got to close one and instead of lowering the box, the driver jumped out. Arced over to tipper box with blue arcs round tyres which soon started to explode!

There's not enough talk in these threads about how to exit the car safely after it has been hit by lightning. You can't just step out! In most cases don't you have to jump clear at least 5 feet?
