The Land Hemisphere, of which Nante, France is at its centre, contains about 85% of the land surface of the Earth, whereas the Water Hemisphere contains the remaining 15%. However, only 11% of the Water Hemisphere is land. A full 89% of the Water Hemisphere is covered with water.
