Not really. Domino is using unstable balances but butterfly effect is not base on that. Domino effect is about unstable systems such as nuclear chain reactions which happens in unstable atoms or particles. These two things are totally different in philosophy
It is extremely important to weigh consequences to your decisions. A decision thought to be minor and of no implications, once made, could trigger far wider consequences. Domino effect could be an unintended outcome.
