        True, I would be interested to know which...if it was a private company I guess my doubts that a government could never get such a thing done in so short a time remain unmoved :-)

        The job was done by a private comapny, but at the request and supervision of governmental body (Rijkswaterstaat) in the Netherlands.

        Theirs a small (dug) hole (utility) in the road near to where I live......been weeks.....no workmen......holding up traffic....ONLY in the UK !

        They’d spend 10 years commissioning reports; then they’d have to go to court to requisition the land; then they’d have to train trainers who could then train the workers; then they’d build the tunnel & discover half way through that the bore should’ve been larger...
