      Mortal Kombat was... just alright. The plot sucks, but the fights are incredible. Also Scorpion was great and I’m glad they did him well.

      Yeah it’s hard to write a good plot behind this video game for sure. Agree completely the fights were awesome, plot sucked, scorpion and sub-zero side story = saved the movie

      The fights saved this movie from being total dogshit. I enjoyed it overall and hope it gets a sequel, but as a movie, it’s mediocre. 5/10, but I had fun watching it. I wish they didn’t kill off so many notable characters, but I’ll forgive that if they come back in a sequel.

      It’s better than the 1995 one imo. This one is more faithful to the games.
