Appreciate you for this. Do you mind explaining the difference? Or rather what it might look like for an LGBTQ character to be in a show or movie while not telling an LGBTQ story or relying on stereotypes?

As a queer person, I have an example. I recently finished the book Hench. One of the henchman happens to be gay, but its not the focus. It comes up in conversation once or twice but his plot arc is how much of an asshole he is 1/2
