Also the nerve of this article mentioning Merle Oberon playing Boleyn in black and white in 1933. Oberon was practically totally Caucasian and the movie was in black and white ffs.

Isn’t what matters how someone phenotypically presents? If arguing otherwise doesn’t it contradict the whole premise of prejudice based on race? Merle Oberon could have Maori ancestry but if one couldn’t have known that simply by looking at her then what’s their point?
