I don't find it inconsistent for the press to litigate in defense of its rights and to let others litigate their own. Beyond that, I don't understand your point at all.

My point is it would be consistent and in keeping with the ostensible role of the press to litigate in defence of transparency for all parties, not just for itself and certainly not just for the left.
