I’ve been in DC for 4 years now. I’ve met thousands of people. Maybe tens of thousands. I can count on two hands the number of people I like here.
It’s just all so... fake. People who act SHOCKED at things that are obvious. People who bad mouth POTUS but grift off him for social media clout. People who straight up lie to your face, even though they know you know they’re lying.
It’s actually an outrage at how immoral this place is. Like Sodom and/or Gommorah. Am I perfect? Nah. But I’m no liar or phoney. Those are the worst ones.
These “influencers” will grift off you all day. Then we all whisper about the truth. In the evenings. In the Trump Hotel lobby or similar. It’s like high school. And these are the people running the country? See my tweet from early yday morning.
Oh and for the CCP/DNC operatives looking to pounce: I’ve never been suicidal and i never will be!
I suppose the worst part of it all is that I’m an enabler of it. It weighs on my conscience every night.
I have heard people rationalise sexual assault. I have watched people lie to the point of theft. I have stood idly as men and women chose the quick buck over their countrymen. I want to say “no more” but it’s not realistic. As soon as you say something they all pile on.
Watch closely who gets attacked from all sides. Then you know who to trust.
Good examples: @Harlan and @JackPosobiec.
But both of them can bite their tongues better than I can.
I ooze scorn when bad people are around.
They smartly walk the other way.
I growl and bark.
Like I say, I’m not perfect. But I’m not evil. Anyway; should sleep.
