I’m not trying to Comms this to any DC rightists. But I’m often surprised with how many folks don’t know the difference. The liberal enlightenment was not a good thing, guys.

American constitutionalists call themselves conservatives but they’re not the same. Conservatism has a faaaaarr longer history than the Founding Fathers of the USA who were arguably far more libertarian than conservative.

libertarianism leaning is the correct ideals but conservatism is neccesary to defend & defeat those who wish to usurp freedom. Too much freedom leads to no freedom. Thats why deplorables are deep down libertarian but our defensive shell is conservative
