Nah. Squawk boxes like Carlson have been using patriotism as a weapon against opposing ideology for so long that they have no sense of the fact that it doesn't work against actual war heroes.

This is bullshit. French isn't saying her political ideas are beyond critique. He's saying that Carlson's attack that she doesn't love the country is the worst kind of partisan hatchetwork and easily disproven. Which it is.
