While shadowbanning is real, i think the higher engagement has a lot to do with less traffic. Some people follow 1000 people that post daily. Only so much is showing up on your phone.
Wow look at how much Twitter has killed my engagement over my suspension.
I have 1/3rd the followers over at @parler_app but a higher engagement rate.
