It’s intersectionality. Both groups are fighting for freedom against oppressive forces. Just because they’re not exactly the same, doesn’t mean they can’t work together. The BLM is not about communism; it’s about justice and equality for the African American community.
BLM is a de facto political party allied with AntiFa communists and in solicitation of donations thru the new communist DNC. Any alliances with the progressive left will leave HK protesters out of pocket.
The Hongers that ally themselves are doing so for moral purposes, not political ones. It’s a dangerous mentality to think that all people of a certain political affiliation must dutifully agree with all ideas of that side or party. You can be proequality and still anticommunist.

This is such a good point. What Raheem doesn’t seem to understand is that there can be overlap between the two groups but that support of the BLM movement doesn’t necessarily mean you support ANTIFA. Just like how there are dems that are pro 2nd Amendment and pro choice reps.
