  Or maybe, and this sounds kinda crazy, but please hear hear me out. It looks exactly like tear gas, was used in the exact same manner tear gas is, so they assumed it was tear gas.

  The Mediais fueling the fire instead of extinguishing it. They will report and distort whatever they could in order to regain their dwindling relevance and to blame Trump. This tragic incident have been abused for political gains with disregard of the public's safety & interests

  Just sloppy, poor quality journalism, which we get now from most Western media organisations - the TRUTH is becoming more & more irrelevant, & the political slant is becoming more & more prominent. We need a renaissance of good quality journalism, instead of propaganda
