I don't believe it was bio warfare. If it was, the Chinese do bio weapons pretty bad if it killed as many people as a seasonal flu & a cheap, decades old medicine (hydroxychloroquine/z-pack/zinc) can treat it. Communists don't usually handle deadly things well (i.e. Chernobyl)
