Thermometer checks are sort of a tough guy way to say "we think we can check you." Kind of like the bouncer who pats people down when they have drugs in their shoe. You have to think about this stuff more comprehensively.. After China's mistakes people are not that dumb dude.

Watch it happen tho. It’ll be more to tick the insurance box so they can’t get sued if someone gets it on their premises than anything else.
