Doesn't it concern you that supporters of Trump have to use the phrase 'What he meant was'? Why are you excusing him? He is the leader of the free world. Why do commentators have to continuously 'Translate' the actual words he speaks?
I mean I’ll be honest about it: he doesn’t script or go for the old political polish. So many news journalists and commentators use this as an opportunity to spin vagueness in a certain direction, or genuinely misunderstand. I prefer substance over style.
