Oddly, I haven't unfollowed or blocked anyone during this period, despite vast divergences in views of the world or ability to read and interpret data. If that's where you're at, I'd consider it regrettable but not a sufficient reason to change course. I'll stop replying to you.
I am becoming deeply suspicious of the “everything is fine” brigade and their motives. You can’t be pro life on one end and anti life at the back end.

Recognizing that the data doesn't bear out a need for panic, doom, and gloom despite showing a situation that will get worse before getting better isn't an "everything is fine" attitude.

For the record, I'm not "pro-life." I'm "pro-justice," which means taking the appropriate response given the situation. That's why I'm anti-abortion and pro-death penalty, without any cognitive dissonance.
