I see some pandemic panic folks excuse the unconscionable error by Professor "climate change will kill us all" Ferguson who overestimated deaths by a ratio of 25x to panic the west into economic suicide. Bottom line: he said quarantine until vaccine, but now says "nah, oops."https://twitter.com/RaheemKassam/status/1243237773441671169 …

Is Ferguson a personal friend or something? It's clear that his premises were faulty.

I’ve never heard of him. Maybe you guys have a different way of reading this stuff or something, I dunno. But I don’t think anyone Britain thinks he’s reversing ferret. Is this a distinction in how we analyse reports? I’m baffled by the chasm on this.

First off, Ferguson has an interest in the panic, because of the War Room Pandemic Podcast. Second, why won’t you address the timeframes from the study?pic.twitter.com/zHemswfj8E

Everybody seemed to understand he was saying this. "And their model, if correct, suggests that doing this for a short period of time wouldn’t be enough" but "have to continue until a vaccine is tested and approved and enough people are vaccinated."https://www.fastcompany.com/90479274/a-horrifying-report-says-flattening-the-curve-may-not-be-enough-but-there-are-reasons-it-might-be-wrong …

Yeah. Reporters are dumb, man. What do you want from me?
