Hey Ross, I was in the AmSpec office recently. Where were you??? Also no one from *checks notes* Colorado(!?) is going to teach a Brit with a degree in Politics and A levels in economics and history about Ricardo.

I'm not an employee...and my radio job keeps me from having as much time to write as I'd like. FYI, my degree is in poli sci though I studied about as much econ at Columbia University. Don't try the "appeal to authority" with me.

You’re a walking cliche, aren’t you? Are we going to run the gamut of fallacies - the most played out libertarian tactic for trying to avoid the actual issue - or are you going to realize for once that you MIGHT not be an authority on something you just found “cool” as a kid?

Since you're such a super-genius, right up there with Wile E Coyote, I'm sure you realize that if iPhones were made entirely in the USA, almost nobody could afford them.

...and what happens when the market is producing a product that no one can afford, Ross? I feel like we might get somewhere, here.

Someone will use an overseas supply chain to make a version that people can afford.

...and what if (as it should be) that is discouraged in some way, shape, or form?

Why should that be discouraged? The answer, though, is that society is poorer and quality of life is lower.

We are living through why that should be discouraged. Why do you hate your nation so much that you want it to be in hoc to a foreign adversary: - On finance; - On medicine; - On manufacturing; - On balance of payments; - On cyber security; - On debt? THINK!!!

But that's not the same as saying that everything we buy should be made in America. It shouldn't. In fact, it's not even CLOSE to possible without massive levels of population growth through immigration which most people would oppose.

Or you could stop killing your babies and maybe start having more than 1 child and 6 dogs per family
