The iPhone 11 Pro Max costs around $400 to make. It begins at retail for $1,100. Don’t let anyone tell you the price would HAVE to go up to make it in the US. The profit margin would have to come down.

The biggest hinderance is labor. In particular skill sets. But that’s because we’re too busy teaching kids intersectionality instead of machine tooling.

In truth the US market means less to Apple now than when they launched the iPhone. That’s why it’s not “coming back”. And that’s because we stood idly by while Western politicians allowed en masse outsourcing to China etc so they could get their commission.

Our politicians have been nothing but brokers for the past 40 years. Trading our livelihoods and futures away for their 5% on the back end.

Do you support trade sanctions on China in the wake of coronavirus? They owe the world for their mismanagement of this virus. We should band together with other nations to require China fall in line or suffer economic retribution. Thoughts?

Which is why we need a 30% tarriff on any product that US companies import. That will make the numbers more favorable to bring those jobs back.

When the price goes back up it might be a good time to divest
