I’ve been saying this for weeks now.
Young people can get this very seriously, suffer very much, and be left with life long health problems as a result.
Our institutions trusted China to tell us the truth about the virus.
They lied!

There actually is data, Jordan, but it would require you speaking to Italian sources like some of us have. I mean even AP reported 1/3rd of ICU cases in Lombardy were people under 64. Don’t be fake news, dude.

Raheem I don't need to speak Italian to look at the data. You're making my point for me. If only 1/3 of ICU cases are people under 64, that means 90+% of the population is incredibly underrepresented, which means virus exponentially impacts elderly w/ pre existing conditions.

I said: “Young people CAN get this very seriously”. You said: “No data for that”. I provided data. You’re now changing your claim to make it fit your silly claim. Best to just remove your original tweet claiming there’s no data for younger people affected. That’s a lie.

We are talking over each other. My comment referred to the video u shared in which Dr Brix's implies that young people r also very vulnerable. My comment, referring to her commentary, is that the data suggests otherwise. I am not ruling out that young people too can get sick.

It will take us years to realize the full extent of impact this is having on younger people. But we’re already seeing evidence that people aren’t “basically immune” because they’re younger - a thesis which has caused many to NOT social distance. It’s no time to be blasé.

Appreciate your perspective but I disagree and I'll leave it at that.

You disagree with there being long term implications to a virus that ravages the lungs? Or you disagree with the idea that we can’t be blasé? Have an egg. It’s brain food. Then call me.
