For those following, remember the hospital told me to call back at 8pm? I’m on hold. Will let you know how it goes. Now nearly 8 hours late on my 72 hour #coronavirus test results.

Got on, explained situation, placed on 10 minute hold. After 10 mins someone new picks up and starts the call afresh. This is pathetic from @MedStarGUH

I’ve got a doctor on the phone now. “No results. They’ve actually been taking over 4 days”. So she’s now pushing from Friday to Saturday to SUNDAY for results. She got bored when I kept asking questions and put me back on hold. I’m not going anywhere @MedStarGUH.

She came back on after a few minutes. Tried to get me off and wouldn’t answer my Q about if I should continue to quarantine. At that point I (Britishly) lost my patience for the 1st time during this process. “I am your patient. You are my doctor. Answer my question please”.

She said, “I have nothing more to tell you”. Me: “You haven’t even let me ask you the question”. Sigh. I know everyone’s under pressure right now but if I’m gonna be sent a $$$ bill I expect some help/courtesy.

Anyway, she let me ask. And I simply asked “if the results still aren’t here by tomorrow and I don’t have a fever can I unquarantine?” She said I could come back in and start the (now 4/5 day process) again or consider myself low risk, mild symptoms, and basically forget it.
