I understand why you want to be tested but I really wish you hadn't just waltzed into ER. Say you do have #WuhanVirus ..then you've potentially just put everyone in there at risk. Including other patients and health care workers. :(
Not really, no. Firstly, it’s the advice of DoH *and* I called ahead to see that that was correct. Also, the virus isn’t airborne. I’d literally have to lick, sneeze on, or kiss people to instantly endanger them. I did not do those things.
I literally heard them (yesterday morning) say that this virus had just mutated to another strain already. I think abiding by an abundance of caution is a much better way to go. Idk. Just my thoughts ..I do care that you haven't been able to be tested. Should have happened by now

This is not funny, but it's beginning to RESEMBLE a high-end comedy skit.....visions of you licking and kissing indiscriminately around the ER are dancing in my head. And I barely know ye.
If you walked in the hospital wearing a N95- or higher- graded face mask, you would’ve been much safer to people within your vicinity. I hope you did and the whole ordeal turns out to be a false alarm. Good luck.

I dont get "isn't airborne." It transmits through “respiratory droplets” when an infected person speaks, coughs or sneezes. Droplets spread through the air, land on another person’s mouth or nose, or inhaled infecting them. Droplets can settle on a desk, counter, or doorknob.
