It is the mayor that delegates where his budget is spent and what is deemed important issues. To just blame the government is the same as putting ones head in the sand. Funny how Boris had the same budget and this wasn’t going on to the scale it is now.

Over £1.9bn of the Met’s £2.5bn funding in 2018-19 is from the government. Police budgets fallen by 1/5. There could be many reasons why there has been an increase in knife crime - snowball effect for one. Too simplistic to say it worse under Khan that BoJo.

If you see the full video it appears the guy on the bike recognises the driver and this is presumably gang related. If this was the USA the cyclist would have pulled out a gun and the driver and several passers by would now most likely be dead so there is that silver lining.

This might be hard to believe but it is actually possible to be concerned and want someone to be apprehended by police without fantasizing about repeatedly watching them being killed. Nice attempt though.
