Why aren't they publishing how many people actually died? The local emergency services are telling everyone over 150
Probably because they aren't certain yet. Unknown how many people in, out, who had visitors etc. Why do you need an exact number?

I'm just hearing that people at Grenfell are being told by Emergency Services that over 150 have been found, so why are we being told less?

The number is constantly being revised. Far more important things right now than an exact count.
