One of the biggest political shifts for me personally in the last few years is accepting that moderation in British politics and political discussion is largely done. Maybe it’s done for a generation.

I was thinking this today. The art of debate seems to have been lost, along with the ability to respectfully disagree with someone who does not share the same views as you. A lot of people now don’t share their views for fear of being shouted at.
