      assuming slow water going in, it all goes from 4 to 2, none to 6. Once it gets to 2, it all goes from there to 1. Water escapes as soon as possible aka the lower "arm." Think the only way it isn't 1 is if we heavily increase the speed the water comes in. What am I missing here?
