Laugh and be flippant all you want. If you can’t communicate your ideas respectfully, why should people respect what you have to say?

Also, what makes you think Blizzard even wants ppl like this on stage repping their country, the game, and the company? Because they have legend points?? They already DQ themselves for consideration without playing a single card. Being a pro is more than just being good in-game.

Some of these people aren't necessarily advocating for them to be on the team / in tournaments (GM) necessarily, just that there be a fair and open system for people to get the opportunity to.

Yeah I believe there is a group of players that do argue for the greater good. However, my guess is that those who do fight for that also tend to be more reasonable instead of being aggressively rude on social media. See:

The man has a 6 page long essay of him being reasonable that you seem to be completely ignoring, just further proving his point. Would you not be frustrated if even when you’re arguing for the greater good you just get completely ignored?

I feel like that adds to my point. Why ruin all that hard work by being so hostile? Has he seriously tried to sit down with them in a way that they feel comfortable (AKA not twitlonger/eyes of the public)? Has he tried listening to their vision and the constraints placed on them?

This concerns me. I'm very active in commenting the scene and I make a point about staying constructive and not personal, yet sometimes when I criticize I feel like I'm going too far for some. If you have advice on how to maintain meaningful communication I welcome it.

My advice is to stop trying to use Twitter to do it. Twitter is great for memes, announcements, and highlights. It’s not a good platform for meaningful communication, yet it’s the primary platform of choice.

What other way would you recommend? Tbh I never thought there is any other.

I treat it like I would at my job. Email & request meeting time with whoever is the person that needs to hear it. I prepare a deck of ideas to clearly present my ideas with proper and practical solutions. And I ensure we end the meetings with action items. I’d start there.

I understand where your coming from here, but when the community gets more of a response when matters are raised on social media (recent SN1P-SN4P issue in wild - appreciate its not an esports thing) than they did emailing Blizz, you can see why things end up here or on Reddit.
