The fact that I see more ranked #TFT screenshots than any type of #Hearthstone game screenshot makes me real sad and shows we need incentive.
@HSesports Our ladder system has to mean something and reward players. Not having an goal/reason will keep driving people to other games
I think that’s part of it. But also ladder is meaningless now so where’s the motivation to play?

Normally that motivation would be improving your game or learning a meta deck. When the meta doesn’t change that’s not there. There are a lot of players who play ladder without any sort of tangible reward at the end beyond the rank.

What Clark is saying I think holds true for more of the competitive players. If playing competitively is a priority, Hearthstone has been frustrating. It's hard to justify ladder for some while playing 20-30 hrs a week in cups. However the game itself has been in a very fun spot.
