There were other weird rules that pretty much just hurt streamers like this one. There is 0% chance that this rule stops anyone that is trying to cheat with a friend sitting next to them or screensharing. But what it does do is cause streamers to get wrongfully DQ'd.

It makes no sense to create unenforceable rules. Previously there was a rule that no GM player could stream with a non-GM player because that would be "coaching them" and would give them an advantage to making it into the GM league. Eventually we need to fix these bad rules.

Did the rule in question get lifted? Not having
@Ike__HS be on yours and zalaes stream seems counter intuitive.1 reply 0 retweets 1 like -
Took a week or so but we got it changed. It is now GM players can't stream with non-GM streamers during the last 5 days of the ladder season. Still dumb, but manageable dumb.

The original rule and this rule are exceptionally dumb... I’m really surprised at some of the rules I’m hearing that you guys have to adhere to. I’m glad you’re pushing back on some. Do you have a GM player council (like 1 or 2 players per region) to be able raise this stuff

Or does stuff get challenged as and when it comes up by anyone? Can def see benefits if there being a smaller elected group who speak for wider GM group and community as a whole on formats etc
