He literally cannot cast the spell if he doesn't have the health to do so, the game won't let it happen.
Thinking about the game I played against even lock yesterday. If he’s at 4 health when he plays mecha’thun combo does game end in draw (blood bloom/cataclysm hits for 4 but triggers Mecha DR at same time) or does health total <=0 resolve before the DR triggers?
