I hear "that's the first word I've heard him say all day" almost every time I play. I always think to myself "that's because I've been paying attention, and that's the 3rd of 5 times you've checked back turn after c-betting the flop 7 times out of 8."

Sort of different territory, I think you can pay attention without being silent. I like to chat a lot for various informational and congenial reasons, but in general yeah ppl shouldn’t point out other players’ character traits.

I'll definitely introduce myself on the break. I wouldn't even talk to my grandma in game. She'd probably be real good at fishing for information. Pros can talk and think at the same time, but I can't. I'm a mediocre poker player.
